![]() Forgotten Temple is actually a webtoon, which is basically like a slightly moving online comic book. Sadly, when many hear " a sequel to Black Flag," they'd naturally assume Ubisoft was talking about a game. The story will follow Kenway as he finds the pieces of Eden across the Southeast Asian seas, after his full integration into the Brotherhood, as well as meeting his descendant Noa - but there's a catch. ![]() Even looking at its future shows a land of contrasts - Mirage is a return to smaller adventures like Altair’s and Ezio’s, Codename Hexe and Codename Red are rumoured to be the typical overstuffed 80 hour slogs, Codename Jade is a mobile RPG, and we have Infinity on the way, which is kind of a new game, kind of a platform for existing Assassin’s Creed titles, kind of live-service, kind of nothing.Assassin's Creed: Forgotten Temple has been revealed as an official follow-up to Edward Kenway's story first established in Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. The series has repeatedly ballooned, and while lightning struck with Odyssey, the largest games in the series tend to be bloated, slow, and crammed with dull filler. It has been clear for a while that Ubisoft doesn’t quite know what to do with Assassin’s Creed. And imagine my despair when it turned out to be a Webtoon comic. Imagine my joy when a sequel for it was recently announced then. I’ve always liked pirates (had I been a noble in the 17th century, I might feel differently), and Black Flag is the perfect sized Assassin’s Creed game for me, so it has my heart. I don’t think it’s the best, that honor belongs to either Assassin’s Creed 2 or Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, depending on what you’re looking for, but Black Flag will always be the most special to me. Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag is my favourite Assassin’s Creed game.
